“I cannot put into words how much BSA has contributed to the success of the Beverly High School sailing team. It all started with rickety old boats that were pretty much held together by duct tape. So BSA sprang into action. After raising so much money in such little time we had brand new boats to train and race with. With the help of BSA, the program has flourished and will continue to do so. Thank you so much BSA for all of your hard work and help.”

“Sandy Point Sailing Association has a rich history of teaching young people sailing in Beverly — including sailboat racing. A decline in interest in youth sailboat racing a decade ago prompted Sandy Point to end its racing program due to a lack of participation. With the recent upswing in interest in high school racing Sandy Point thought there may be an opportunity to re-introduce a racing class but struggled with encouraging enrollment. BSA stepped up to this challenge and offered to partially fund Sandy Point’s teen racing class, including allowing Sandy Point to offer scholarships for interested teens to attend for half the normal tuition. Enrollment immediately jumped from just one student to six with interest from others. Thank you BSA for sparking this renewed interest in sailboat racing among the next generation of sailors!”

“Many thanks to the Beverly Sailing Association for all you do for our sailing team! Our program has grown so much due to your support! We are so fortunate to have the benefit of the newer boats and the program has instilled the love of sailing in our students! The benefits of the skills that they will acquire will strengthen them in future endeavors! Thanks for investing in our school community!”
