About Beverly Sailing Association

Discover Our Commitment to Youth Sailing Excellence

Beverly Sailing Association, Inc. (BSA), a 501C3 organization formed in June 2022 by members of JYC, accepts donations, purchases various sailing-related products and services, and donates them to sailing programs in Beverly. Youth is the future of sailing and we want to help by providing good boats, sails, and related equipment and services to support the development of competitive young sailors.

BSA’s vision is to inspire and empower young people through the art of sailing, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a deep connection to the ocean while cultivating lifelong skills and a spirit of adventure.

BSA’s mission is to provide young people with access to high-quality sailing education, emphasizing safety, environmental stewardship, and personal development. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, we aim to build resilience, leadership, and a passion for maritime exploration, ensuring that every participant grows both on and off the water. Since inception, BSA has made 14 donations to 6 organizations, and s of midyear 2026, have raised $100,000+ and received $18,000+ from the sale of surplus boats and sails.
